SX Ursa 6-string Jazz bass

Hey all, my Ursa 6 is great as you all know!!!! I am curious if anyone has any experience with SX guitars, specifically a tele type? Or any of Rondo's guitars. Low priced ones that is. Thanks

No teles but got two SX strats. One A stock and one B stock. The B stock one was an incredible buy. It even came with a hard case! And the dings in the descriptions turned out to not be there! (Had a funny bridge buzz to get rid of) the SX guitars are pretty much like the basses. Great wood, great mod platforms. Great instruments when you are through with them.

Dabbler is obviously really into teles!

ACTUALLY, I'm more of a strat guy:

But my favorite SX model is the ky1/Isis:

Wow.....a really good lookin' family of axes!!! Dang man, how many you got all totalled?

Guitars? Seventy five or so, most but not all from rondo. Basses, twenty five or so, again mostly rondo. I'm a guitarist who plays bass, though I'm playing more bass than guitar these days.

As you can see, I tend to buy in groups, I like trying basic designs in different configurations, to see what a difference it makes.

If they ever offer the ursa 2 6 ash in burst, I'll have one of those too, to go along with these:

I installed full copper shielding, thread inserts, football jack, battery box, $18.99 Ming preamp, and new knobs this weekend.

The battery box and football jack mods are not for the faint at heart and you really need to have the correct tools. (Router, battery box template - I made my own, top bearing router bit, forstner bit)

Really happy with how everything turned out.

ursa6 barely fits this. It squeezes in. I depressed the center piece where the neck is cradled so that the u-shape is wide enough for the neck.

If you call and ask for it they'll give you the tweed case at the price of the black case. maybe not the best quality in the world but it looks really nice I get a lot of compliments on it

I'm lookin at a b stock tele...says finish cracks at end of frets but smoothe and playable...any opinions from anyone??? Thanks

it's usually barely noticeable but does exist kind of thing. not perfect. those who bought b stock and reported back here always got away with good deals. if youdon't mind superficial blemishes then you'l be ok. b stock doesn't mean unplayable infeasible it just means something went wrong. & you can always return it.

This. I have bought quite a few b-stocks, both guitars and basses, and I have only sent back one. Buy it.

I did the bridge & magnets, restrung w labella flats
6th string saddle is only up that high to get to the bridge screw in case you're wondering. I intonated new strings w stock bridge, made markers where it was in tune, then replaced with this allparts bridge.

Oh, that one doesn't have the route between the neck pup and the control plate cavities.
