Question 1:
What propelled Pink Floyd to fame?

It wasn't Red Bull or a jet.
It was that they had an entire fan base stoned on marijuana who thought any music that drones on and on and on must be awesome. Plus, their music apparently produces some kind of rift in the space-time continuum where time seems to stand still, forever.

Question 2:
In a typical Pink Floyd song, are the measures between chord changes counted in minutes or in hours?


I bought a Pink Floyd vinyl album back in the '70, put it on the turntable, I'm still waiting for side one to end.
