The one pictured is a small block. All numbers match cla$$ car for NHRA Stock Eliminator.
There is not replacement for displacement though. An all aluminum 427 weighs less than a cast iron small block.

Depends on the change in the stroke length.
Bore dia x bore dia x stroke x .7854 x # of cylinders
Punching a 400 .030 adds about 8 cube increase
