OK gang, I want to do a Q&A - no video.

When I'm playing a Jazz bass my main bass is a Squier Affinity Jazz 5 and my backup is a Fender American Deluxe Jazz 5 (I do it to piss off the gear snobs).
Monster or Fender or Planet Waves or other instrument cable, what's your preference?
I have never had problems with PW cables. In fact, I am due for a replacement as I may have accidentally shipped my spare to a guy in Indiana who bought my old bass...
45° or straight jack?
Straight in, front mounted Jack. Hate side jacks, PITB when sitting down. Strat Jack is ok but just doesn't look right on some basses. Billy Sheehan dual 45 degree looks really weird.
