I noticed them too. Assumed they were Mendel’s but after seeing the Mesa cabs I really couldn’t tell who was using what.
Paramount+ did the live stream so probably there and I think MTV Youtube had it too. The one hour CBS replay cut out most of what I wanted to see.
They’ve taken it off YouTube, and all of the clips from the official stream. And I haven’t been able to find it on Paramount+ yet, but their platform is terrible so it’s possible it’s there but just not easily found.
Yeah, i heard it too. And he is almost always on point, i was wondering if alex went out but it sounded like Geddy was playing the same "shapes" on the wrong frets. Working man as epic though.
Finally caught some recaps today and saw the Let’s Dance performance. Agreed, Josh Homme nailed the Bowie vibe. And Chris Chaney’s vintage Jazz sounded killer in the mix. It looked like he was using it for everything he played on.
Chaney can make anything sound freakin amazing.
Macca has played through Mesa stuff for a while now. Early in the show when I saw the Mesa bass rig upfront center stage I wondered if he would be appearing later in the show. Not sure what JPJ was playing through.
I just watched the one hour CBS version and one moment that stood out to me was the guy (shot from behind) nodding along backstage when Taylor's son played. I had to rewind to ID they guy based on his shirt and glasses. It was Omar Hakim. How effing cool is that?
