TB'ers. what guitars do you like?

330 Ric 1.JPG EA-250 Epi-2.jpg I like these 2; '87 330 Rickenbacker and an early '70's EA-250 Epiphone. Both sound great played through the Rick amp, or the little Gretsch. :)

although you may play a fender or gibson, do you like there electric guitars?

i quite like ibanez basses but im not really a big fan of the electric guitar stuff. Personally i use Warwick pro series bass's but i play a PRS electric.

EDIT - i guess as another point. would you agree that some compaies bass division may be better than thier guitars? i have often heard people say that although ESP/LTD have great guitarist, their basses are generally pretty rubbish. to the same token, Ibanez make great basses, but their guitars are a bit, so so.

is that a fair comment?
I like my Strat. I like my Les Paul. I like my daughter's boyfriend's PRS that he left with me for safekeeping while they are out of town. I like my Melody Maker, though I don't play it very much.

I like my Alembic Epic 5 and my Bongo 5 HHP, too.

Since there is already a TB Guitar Thread I ignored this one, but what the heck. I have 3 electric and 1 acoustic guitar. Too many, I should let one of the electrics go, maybe give it to a nephew or niece if they get into music. But I digress. My favorite guitar is my Fender Modern Player Marauder. Strat-style neck, can get a Stratish tone, a Jazzmaster tone, or fatten it up with the triplebucker (really a single+humbucker combo). The offset body is comfortable like a Jaguar bass and it looks cool as hell. One of these days I'll be good enough to live up to the coolness of my instruments.

Whilst I m more into individual guitars than into manufacturers( as in; 'I heard a really nice Tele the other day', rather than saying 'I really like teles'), i do tend to like the looks of Paul Reed Smith and as a format I tend to like Telecasters ( The one pickup version. Was that one also called Tele?).

3 guitars of note...
My Schecter Tele

and my brother's Orange guitar. Yes, Orange from the Orange shop in the early 1970s

and my Washburn D60SW

My Godin SolidAc is the most flexible of beasts and I have kept the trusty Ibanez Roadstar II strat for love.
