Somehow the RH450 sounds amazing through ampeg cabinets when it comes to giving it high end punch. I have an HLF610 as backline at a regular gig I do and it kills through it! I am happy with my TC's but if you want more sparkle the new Ampeg cabs are great with the RH450. Also I recommend using higher quality cables through-out you set-up for the best performance in general with you whole rig. Mogami , or any of the higher end well reviewed cables for instrument and speaker will take a blanket off your sound and make it sparkle and punch. Cables really matter and are a relatively inexpensive way to make EVERYTHING that comes out of your bass sound better.
Cheers
Being inspired by comments like this and by munjibunga, I just order the Pro Co guardian Fat Max cables for my soon to arrive TC Electronics rigs. They are expensive, and I am sure 8 guage cable is overkill, but it then again, a lot of what bass players buy is overkill, so why not have the best cables.
PS, I don't advocate using anything longer than a 15' cable for your bass. +1 to mogami cables.
