Hey Munji, apparently the default frequency settings are different from the 450, so bass is at -3 clicks and treble at +8. The two mids are noon. Just to keep us wondering, I guess
Aha. Yes, the centers are different, but the ranges are the same. Funky.
RH450:
Bass Center Freq: 280Hz (range: 71-1120Hz, Gain: +15/-24dB)
Low Mid Center Freq: 400Hz (range: 100-1600Hz, Gain: +15/-24dB)
High Mid Center Freq: 800Hz (range: 200-3150Hz, Gain: +15/-24dB)
Treble Center Freq: 1600Hz (range: 400-6300Hz, Gain: +12/-24dB)
RH750:
Bass Default Freq: 200 Hz (range: 71-1120 Hz, Gain: +15/-24 dB) - Shelving type.
Low Mid Default Freq: 400 Hz (range: 100-1600 Hz, Gain: +15/-24 dB)
High Mid Default Freq: 800 Hz (range: 200-3150 Hz, Gain: +15/-24 dB)
Treble Default Freq: 4000 Hz (range: 400-6300 Hz, Gain: +15/-24 dB) - Shelving type.
I can't understand why they went to 4,000 hz for the treble on the RH750. Interestingly, they still show the same frequency ranges for each band but, as we now know, the straight-line graph doesn't work for the RH750's bass and treble.
So I wonder if the lines have a bend in them at the defaults, or if we need to plot the three points and use a French curve.
