TC Sub 'N' Up Octaver! New Octave Pedal!

I've spent a bunch of time in the editor lately on my Sub N Up - I wonder what, if anything will change in the editor for the mini. The editor is where the Sub N Up really shines.
I don't own any of the other TCE mini pedals - is the editor interface the same, just with less knobs / available parameters or what?

If I would have waited until both were out, I'd probably get the mini since I never use the Sub2 knob for its intended purpose. However, I will say that the Sub2 knob is helpful when you assign it to a different parameter like chorus with a toneprint. Really cool organ sounds that way.
See, this is why I couldn't go for the mini. Using the Sub2 as a "wild card" knob in the editor is what makes the SubnUp truly amazing for me.
Hey TC Sub 'n' Up owners - looking to fill out the sound in a power trio, and considering the Sub 'n' Up. I'm thinking that primarily I'd use the up octave with a reasonable amount of drive applied (via the toneprint editor) to emulate an overdriven guitar an octave above what I'm playing, and fill in for when the guitarist solos (we do everything from Bon Jovi to Bruno Mars).
Anyone using the pedal for this and can comment on how it sounds (or have sound clips)? Can't find anything specifically on TB or online for this scenario (but might've just missed something), and nowhere local does a trial period for pedals.
A bit more context - for octave down I already have an Aguilar Octamizer and IE Subterannea, so pretty comfy with lower octaves. And, I don't want an up octave that I'd have to then run through a separate drive or consider bi-amping - simple and effective is what I'm looking for (and an organ tone or two might be cool to play with...
)

Just got the Sub'N'Up mini and played with it for a bit. Definitely one of the most fun pedals I've ever had.
My biggest complaint at the moment is half-arsed toneprint support (at least in the mobile app). Most (all?) available default toneprints were simply copied from the full-sized Sub'N'Up. That wouldn't be an issue in itself, but some of them use the sub2 octave... which obviously you cannot dial out as there is no sub2 knob on the mini pedal. So you're just stuck with it.
Of course there is the PC editor (haven't tried it out yet), but it still looks like on oversight. Hopefully it'll get fixed.

Interested to hear of anyone that has compared this to the POG family for soloed +1 octave fake guitar sounds á la Royal Blood?
From Youtube comparisons it seems the high end is rolled off quite a bit compared to the EHX, but of course that can be adjusted in the Toneprint editor. The adjustable EQ should even be a bonus, to roll off a bit off the harshness, which is possible with the very expensive POG2 but not the Micro/Nano POG. What I'm most interested in is can it produce a clean note that sounds like a guitar without glitching, and how is the latency vs the POG?

I made some custom ones where the Sub 2 knob adds some modulation for when I use it with bass--and hen a variation on that for mandolin where the Sub 2 knob is for the 2nd octave down--but the Octave Up knob is for modulation.
I do like the POG pedals--but the Sub N Up wins for me in terms of latency (a bit better), sound, versatility & price.
But nothing against anyone who prefers the POG--it's cool hat we can use different pedals.
And some people will have both.
So has TC E seen the light yet and set up the editor to offer a fourth down or fifth up in place of the 2-Oct down?
I'm with the EmptyCell on this one, as he mentioned earlier in the thread, a fifth up (or fourth down) is of much more use to me than a 2-Oct down.

Bonus question: I've noticed some of TCE's pedals have some "hidden" functionality accessed by holding down the switch, anything like this on these pedals?

I don't know the answer to your question but I'm thinking of buying one to find out how out fares in the same context. However I think you can download the toneprint app and play with all the parameters to get a feel of exactly what's possible without having access to the actual pedal!

The TonePrint editor only works when the pedal is plugged into a computer/tablet.
You can download the app & the editor & play with the controls--but you won't be able to hear what it sounds like unless you have it hooked up.
But if you have the pedal & the editor it is fun to play with...
