I think you misunderstood. What's "crazy" is thinking it's silly to have 3 or more octave devices. That's simply not thinking clearly.

Ugh, I was drooling over the Sub 'n Up until I saw your comments and realized that I currently have a T. Rex Quint Machine, an EHX Pitch Fork, and a Mooer Tender Octaver already. That is kind of crazy, especially since I'm really only using the Mooer.

Never heard a digital octave (down) that could match analog for tone and immediacy - most have a noticeable processing delay. Look forward to being proved wrong though!

That's why I like having both on my board, digital and analog, they cover different ground. POG2 and Mutron clone, hit the spot.

I hope that with the Toneprint app the upper octave can be EQ'd to remove some of the chimeyness. Could make for a slightly better 8 string emulator than the Bass Whammy.

I'd like to see a toneprint or editing option that allows the -2 Octave be switched to a +2 Octave. That would be much more useful to me on any instrument really.

I have 3 Polytuners and have never used the Poly feature on any of them for bass or guitar other than to look at it and say "hey, neat!" When I want to tune, I want to tune each string individually.

Why buy three polyphonic tuners if you don't use the polyphonic feature?

In my case, I bought one because the price was right and the display was brighter than anything I've ever seen, and I need that because I do plenty of daytime outdoor gigs.

The poly mode sucks but normal mode works great.

Yeah, exactly. I play at bedroom levels onstage, but if I didn't have to move it myself, I'd use an SVT and 810 on every gig just because it sounds the best out of all my amps.

And besides, the tuner works just fine and is super accurate in mono mode, so who cares if it has bells and whistles I don't use or need?

Definitely looks good on paper, and amazingly cheap too.

I might get one if I can find the money somewhere, especially since I just turned my main bass into a 4 string baritone (tuned A-D-G-C) the possibility of adding an extra octave down would be nice along with the possibility to add extra high notes.

Beside that I always liked the synth like sounding pitched output some of these octaver/pitch pedals produce out of your instrument.

I am happy with the Sub-t for my octave uses. But am interested to see how close this pedal gets to the OC-2 sound.

also I know it's a lot to ask, but if this had midi control for swapping different sounds, I would be extremely tempted.

I preordered yesterday after my Nano POG sold. I can't believe how cheap it was with the Prymaxe Cinco de mayo coupon. Total no brainer.

There is some great footage of the Toneprints editor with the SubnUp towards the end of this video. No bass, though.

Anybody gotten their hands on this bad boy yet? I'm really curious how it tracks low notes on bass in polyphonic mode. Someone in another thread said that it can't track below A on the E string. I'm hoping they were using it in monophonic mode.

Don't want to make it any more complicated. Just bought the Mooer Tender Octaver new for 58 dollars, free shipping, from Ali Express. I don't know why it's not for sale anymore in Europe and the USA, but after ordering from China it arrived in two weeks. That's half the price of the sub n up and double the positive reviews
