Thank you very much for your opinionI really like the compressor since it's very easy to use.
It's not very flexible, just one knob adjusting the amount, so if you don't like the sound you're in trouble.
No idea about a v2 though...

I am very intrigued by the bass fly rig for those who are my demanding .. I have heard bad things about the compressor .. can anyone tell me what do you think? I also heard about the bass fly rig v2 coming out soon, can you confirm?
From the videos I saw the compressor did not seem bad to me .. but it is also interesting to have some opinions from those who have it ..There's only so much they can fit in a small box. With the compressor in the Fly Rig I find that using less compressor works the best.
What's the story on version 2?I am very intrigued by the bass fly rig for those who are my demanding .. I have heard bad things about the compressor .. can anyone tell me what do you think? I also heard about the bass fly rig v2 coming out soon, can you confirm?
I am attaching what Tech21 replied by email:What's the story on version 2?
Honestly I'm not a compressor fanatic but I would like it to do its right job .. that it does the essentials ..The compressor's not bad at all, just very basic. If you're a compressor nut, probably not for you. But if you just want a basic smooth-it-out comp, it's very workable. Agreed with above, that you do not want to engage it too much. First 1/3 of the dial or so.

Thank you so much for your information .. I will make good use of it because in the end I decided and bought it .. thank you very much! It's decent for a one knobby-jobby. You have to keep it well-below 12:00 and adjust the level accordingly. The sweet-spot is 9-10:00 IME. Use the tone knob to roll addt'l articulation back into the mix. I'm no expert at comps but the attack or "capture" is a bit too quick but that's a minor niggle or fair trade-off for what the BFR does offer.

The fly rig arrived today and for now only tested in headphone mode with my jazz bass cs .. the first impressions are very positive it is evident that the product is really of the highest quality .. it is obvious that I have to study it a lot .. I wanted to ask you if it is normal that using it with headphones there is a lot of background noise .. thanks a lot to everyone!Looking forward to your post-purchase review.

That's right you always have to press the headphones button otherwise the signal does not arrive .. I tried with my Ampeg and it is very quiet .. obviously it is a feature in the use of headphones .. thanksIf I remember right, there's a switch on the back that changes the level of the jack to make it more friendly for headphones.
Edit - yeah, button on the front, but same thing. Changes the output jack to headphone-friendly. That it?

If I do not activate the button the signal in the headphones does not arrive so I am obliged to activate it .. I believe that the background noises are also determined by the type of the bass pickups ..Be sure to engage the headphone button and re-think your gain structure / levels upstream. IOW, kick the components on & off and adjust the levels accordingly so they match. It's really easy to over-boost and that will add extraneous noise.
