Tech 21 Leeds bass demo

Is the Leeds pedal designed just for guitar, or for guitar and bass? I am wondering if the frequency response is 20-20K so it can handle the low B without losing the low end???

Anyone?

If it can handle the lows count me in as one who will buy this pedal the day it becomes available!!!

It is not designed specifically for either guitar or bass. It is designed to replicate the sonic signature of a few different Hiwatt amps.

That said, none of the other character pedals to date have seemed to have problems with anything other than negligible low end drop. You should be fine.

specs are for losers!

:D

don't get hung up on specs. you hear those low notes from the second harmonic anyway. besides, all the character pedals are going to be equipped with a switch to turn the speaker sim on or off, so it won't be an issue anymore.

Yeah, i was shocked when that bit came on.

Really? That would be the FIRST thing I would think, seeing Tech 21 Leeds. Then again I listen to the Who's Live at Leeds on average once a day. I edited the tracks so that they play in the actual concert order (Tommy after A Quick One and before Summertime Blues). One of my favorite things I've ever done :D

Couldn't say that I cared much for the tone on Pink Floyd's "Money" riff -- but I think that the tone from the bass solo on "My Generation" was AWESOME!!

To tell the truth, the Tech 21 pedal I would most like to try is the Liverpool. I always love to play through Vox amps (AC30 and AC100). My only gripe with them is that they are underpowered for bass use. Now, If I could get that same tone from the Liverpool pedal and put a 500+ watt power amp behind it, I think I might be in heaven.

Anyone know of any bass clips using the Liverpool pedal?
