Thanks for the pic. That does look like a SF, but if I've seen one with a top like that, I've forgotten. Block logo instead of pointy, plus it's missing the "super ferrite" and "made in usa" text, and the center emboss. Must be pretty uncommon, from a time after the block logo was introduced, but before SFs were discontinued. I have two 1992 Foundations; headstocks have the block logo, but pickups have the old pointy logo. Then I have two 1994 Foundations; headstocks still have the block logo, but the pickups are double-jazz size & shape, not SFs. Those double-jazz covers have the same block logo size and placement as in your pic. So evidently, between 92 and 94, they re-tooled an injection mold, then discontinued the product.
I also think the Patriot was discontinued before the block logo was introduced. So I assume that's not the original pickup.
