My daughter has a cheer leading competition next month down there. We stay at some hotel that connects over to the convention center, at least I think it's a convention center... I may have to take that offer

Mini GTG sounds like fun, there's a lot of TBers in the Houston area. Maybe even more than in Dallas...

I play with 2 "bands"...(same band, different singers!) We do blues/rock with one; and country/rock with the other one.\
At the moment, I'm playing a Peavey T20 through a Behringer "rig" (BH450 head into a BB210 cab).
Waco!! well actually Elm Mott but I'm sure most haven't even heard of Elm Mott...
I know where Elm Mott is. Kinda. haha. Used to live in Waco so i have been all around there.
the calender seems stuck on 2007 so i thought this may be the proper forum?
my band Link Removed is having our ep release at curtain club in deep ellum this saturday (feb 9th) i would love for any TBers to swing by and socialize.
back to being nerdy..
as for the show, i will be playing my trusty 1001rb-II into one or two neo 2x12s and using a zoom B2 and digitech xtortion for effects. I may break out the fender maiden p-bass for the gig which i put those crazy dr blue stings onto, but the 77 p bass or my newly EMG'ed duff mckagen fender may be the bass of the evening. can't decide.

I've got no band right now, but I'm starting one with my friends soon I think.
I'm relatively new to bass; only been playing about 5 or 6 months, but I have a Peavey Fury IV, Warwick Rock'Vette and I use a Behringer 45w 1x10 - nothing too fancy yet, but I'm working on it.
