The 50+ Basses Owned Club!!!

I think you could easily join this club for under $8k... just go visit Rondomusic.com. LOL

Seriously though... this thread gives me major GAS. Some of you guys have/have had CRAZY collections. Where the hell do you store 50+ basses? I have 8 and they take up too much room (or so my GF tells me).

My problem isn't the basses taking up room, it's all the cases :hmm:

OK, more numbers....

#21 -- Oreomeister365 -- did you really own 51 Wals? That's gotta be a record....in all the basses I've owned and played, not ONE has been a Wal.
#22 -- FLKnifemaker, pending a post (don't worry about ALL of 'em, just list 50!)
#23 -- Chopper47
#24 -- bikeplate, pending a post. And a pic of your two favorite Sadowskys.
#25 -- fretless bill. You said you had 50 at one time, and listed the 47 you have now. Just tell me what 3 you sold....
#26 -- justabass

I also include my two acoustic guitars & my Fender srat,& Squire hello kitty strat(Christmas)
Last but not least, 1958 Gretsch DBL anniversary guitar(pawn shop find in 1992)
Brings my sickening total to 57 (I am lucky to have an office to store such a ridiculous collection)Not to mention a very cool girlfriend.

I'm in - I've owned over 50. I have 11 right now, and the most I have ever owned at one time is 14.

Right now:

Roscoe
Xotic
Pedulla
Elrick
Bogart
Neuser
Warwick Thumb
Alembic Epic
Dean 10
Curbow IEP, and a Palatino EUB

In the past (checking the list), I've also had 4 other Warwicks, 2 Kubicki's, 2 Statii, 2 Spectors, 2 8-strings (a Dean and an Ibanez Studio), a Dean 12-string, a 1971 4001, a handful of Peaveys and Yamahas, a Galveston acoustic, an MTD Kingston, an Eko fiddle bass, a Conklin, a Tobias, 2 Cort Curbows, a Kawai FIIB, a Brian Moore i5, 2 Tunes, one Jackson, one Charvel, one Washburn, one Sekova, one Hondo, a couple of Ibanez', and one bass I even built myself....

Looking at my list, I make it in at 56 total.

HA! How about that... I guess I really just have always wanted to try as many different bass manufacturers as I can. There's a few I wish I had back, and many I would rather forget.

Count me in.
