My GAS for Acoustic is unstoppable. Got me a 150. There seem to be two different models, are they only different aesthetically?
Thanks. I got a blackface one. Coincidentally, the next day a model 150 combo blueface was also for sale.
Here you can see it. It does say the preamp sounds distorted and needs work

Very similar to my model 126 in my avatar. I still think Acoustic made several items using the same basic 5 sided box. The outer dimensions look identical to 126 combo and the smaller 2x15 cab. Here you can see it. It does say the preamp sounds distorted and needs work

I noticed the different handle. Not sure if it was specific to units shipped abroad, a custom retro-fit, or a rare variation in general as it's the only one I've seen without vinyl strap handles in that size category, and I've looked at dozens if not hundreds just in the past 7 months. My 126 has different grips on the side, so its probably like Jack mentioned a 136 with a head swap
Just looked again. The metal handle appears to be the same casting that's on my 270 head, so I'm not surprised to see it again. It IS curious however it didn't get used more.My 126 has different grips on the side, so its probably like Jack mentioned a 136 with a head swap
The wattage ratings were slightly different if memory serves. My 126 is a different 'generation' so the pwr section could be slightly different in other ways.Am I riight in thinking that the 150, 140, & 136 (and 126?) all had basically the same output power sections (I seem to recall 125 watts)? I know there was some variation in other features - guitar vs. bass, etc.

Lol, seems like i will be buying two 150's on one day. It was indeed confirmed as a 136 case. I will only have the head shipped, that will look damn awesome in my 201
