I used a 140/106 combo in blues clubs back in the '70's. It was loud enough then in most venues, but these were also the days of Shure Vocalmaster PA's in clubs. It might not cut it today without support.

Right... I'm thinking of my amp, in most situations, as a stage monitor, nothing, or at best little, more.
I'm also getting my 370 back, however, and am very glad about that. I'm thinking about two cabs for it down the road, opening it up at 2 ohms. That'll do... oh yes. That'll do!

140 is not supporting 2 ohms. Be aware. You might smoke it if you are not careful .

That would be my guess too. The bass amp already looks pretty big!

I would have loved to see that concert!

Henderson plays a great bass part on the Miles Davis album, “A Tribute To Jack Johnson”, one of favorites of all times.

Now I HAVE listen to it tomorrow while I’m doing some painting!

Yes 100% ahead of their time. They (or their crew) knew enough to keep the subs and array together in the center. Splaying the subs (or wide horizontal sub array) is still such a common mistake.
