Close as I'm gonna get to a Portaflex for awhile.
My settings -
low - 12; low-mid - 10:30; high-mid - 1:30; high - 2
...this gives me a nice tone by itself (see Portaflex reference above), and stack the VT on top of it and life is GOOD.
Either noon for everything or I dial the low mids to 2 and roll the highs back to 10.
I've moved my VT back and forth between the two setups a couple of times (it primarily lives on the board for my Ampeg BA210) to see how it might sound w/the B20, but I don't have specific settings for it yet. IIRC tho, it sounded rather nice with...

I'm new to the forum ... I've got a B200H w/B410 Cab. I've ordered a B115 to add some bottom. It's scheduled to ship end of Feb and I'm not sure what I'm getting in terms of "sealed" or "Ported" cab. GC sales person believe it's ported. Their website says it's ported. But the one I saw at GC has no ports that I could see. What should I expect?

Just bought a B200H for $149 at GC's pres day sale. Killer deal.
I have a question about its rated power vs impedance. Online, the specs read 200w @ 4ohms. In the (combined) manual, the specs read 200w @ 2ohm. Which is it?
I ask, because im running it through an orig Guild/Hartke 200w 8ohm 4x10 cab, and this is PLENTY loud and full. It sounds fuller than 100w....and theres no way its 50....
What am i missing here? I'll get some pics up too.

I'll be joining the club in a few hours when I pick up my first real rig, a new B600H and B410 (the B115 will come later when the piggy bank is refilled). I have a question or two, though, for those in the know.
I like to practice with headphones. I know there's no headphone out on the B600H. Is there any way around this? Someone told me I could plug the headphones into the effect send...is that safe?
Has anyone had any issues with the Direct Out? I love my Line 6 BackTrack recorder and I'm planning on hooking it up to the direct out (I hook it to my Line 6 Bass Floor POD through the direct out with no problems, but I'd like to get away from the POD for a while and just enjoy the Acoustic tone...yeah, yeah, I can turn off the amp modeling on the POD and just use it for effects, but we're talking IF I wanted to just record out of the head Direct Out) and I'm just wondering if anyone has had any problems.
Last, should I apologize to my wife now for the thunder that is about to rock the house?

Thanks for the number! I've got the B600H and B410 at home and my wife is in awe. For some reason, the manual was missing! I see the manual is online, but I'm wondering if that's the current version. For the B600H, the diagram of the rear panel doesn't show the Speakon or Tuner jacks, just a spot for them.
Likewise, can anyone recommend a footswitch? I'm guessing it controls Mute and Notch, yeah?

3:00 for the low, 1:00 for the low-mid, 11:00 for the high-mid, 1:00 for the high. This is for both my Fender Jazzes and Precisions.

I have a B20. Bought it with my Ibanez SR300. First bass. First amp. I wanted a Peavy, but the guy at everyone's favorite store (Guitar Center) sold me on the Acoustic. I think I made the right choice.
