A Ric, but to my specs: 35" scale, 19mm string spacing, 5-string, JetGlo, original electronics.
Fender Aerodyne Jazz
Burgundy red Warwick Corvette $$
Fretless or Fretted (moreso gassing for the former) Warwick Dolphin
Either of Geddy Lee's signature Fender Jazz models
Musicman Stingray HH or H (fretless), specifically Old Smoothie with more color options and the option to be a HH and the option to be fretless.

Another bass I've wanted for years. I had one with a natural finish, but let's face it, everyone needs a blue bass.
I can walk into every music store in Jersey and I won't find a bass that sounds like this.

I don't have one dream bass. 
If I could have it, I'd like a fretted version of my piezo StingRay. I'd also like another matching fretted/fretless set, but in 5-string, with the regular slab body of the Stingray 4-string (as used on the StingRay S.U.B), only in Transparent Violet, and with a white pearl pickguard. And all of them would have perfectly quartersawn wood. Sadly, EB/MM does not have a Custom Shop.
I also kind of want a Toby Chennell Arco bass and a Zeta Crossover. And a Takamine TB10.

i don't have it anymore-I couldn't deal with the short scale any longer.
however, glen did install one of the new generation fretless necks on mine; it had a small dot for every fret and a larger dot to mark the traditional spaces-it was very unique and was an improvement over the filled slots.

It only took 35 years to obtain since Rush released Power Windows and I heard a bass that sounded unlike any other.
Not nearly so large as you're thinking it is. There is a market, but it's really a niche market - even less of a lefty bass market. Good news is you can typically get one made for you or buy one new. Bad news is there's not much of a used market for them.
Of course you can always pull a Jimmy Hendrix on them and string a righty for left hand. You'll have to get the nut re-cut to accommodate the different thickness in the strings, but you do it.
It is safe to go see them now. Geddy no longer mixes cabinets.
Gosh, if I eliminate a couple of old Fender's, I'd choose a Pedulla Buzz 4 string with Bartolini pickups.
