Weeellll, way back when they were popular, the EB-3 fit me like a glove ergonomically, but the sound didn't get it for me. Fast forward to the 2000's man, I really like the sound of the modern SG re-ish, , but too much coin. Wait, I just found a killer deal and it's on the way from Chicago wooooot!!!!!!

I've wanted an EB-3 in Walnut. I had an EB-0 in the late 1960's, but sold it. I found my current 1972 EB-3 last year, but it's in Cherry. Still looking for a walnut one I can afford.

Does buying a bass that I didn't know I've always wanted until I got it count?

I was searching for a two pickup short scale bass as I fell in love with my hollowbody Stratotone H48 fretless and found a great deal on a 2006 Gibson SG in black.

I didn't realize until after I started gigging with it in both a punk band and blue band that this bass can do almost anything!

They haven't been out to long, but I wanted to get the USA Geddy Lee Jazz. I had one a few months ago, but had to sell it. I just recently picked up a replacement for the first one. That was the bass I was going for.

I had a Yamaha BB425x that was excellent, but a little heavy and I switched back to 4 strings. I would LOVE to get the deluxe model in 4 string.

The bass I always wanted: a red Fender Jaguar w/matching red headstock BUT as a 6-string rather than the typical 4-string. Unfortunately, this bass does not exist.

I owned the 4-string and it always left me lacking only because of the limited strings.
