The bass you've always wanted?

The Bass of Doom. The actual bass, not a reissue. Just the mojo of it sitting in my music room would be awesome.

I have the bass, my 97 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass. Bought it new so all the nicks, dings, scratches are from me. It's been my main bass for practice, gigging, recording and always sounds and plays amazing.

FYI, I'm a pretty simple guy who is a diehard Fender player so I realize my answer is quite boring. ;)

Even though I'm an Ibby kind of guy, fenders are amazing instruments. Someday I will have a vintage p bass! I use fender amps for what it's worth :p

It's game over for me :) I'm no expert on this stuff so I just followed my nose and ended up with one of these. I have one or two others :smug: different breeds, just to fill in the gaps. And, one day, I'll tamper with this one, just a little - it could do with some sort of active passive control

Once I have acquired it... the bass I always wanted... GENERALLY get's sold to make way for the next bass on my GAS list

That being said... I currently own at least 5 basses I have always wanted. See my sig line.

It is a vicious catch 22.
