I think you can get replacements if you own a bongo, but unsure if they have ever issued any since these are super reliable.

The Stingray specials are this. They have the 3 band eq from the single H bongos. They even used the same pups.

I meant the HH model! Maybe one day they will make a Stongo lol

No. The Bongos have a 4 band eq and completely different neck.

Not so much really. While they both have neodymium magnet MM pickups, the Stingray Special does not sound like a Bongo.

Same magnet type, 18 volts. But the pickups and preamps are voiced differently.

Thanks, luckily the bass seems well balanced so would probably leave as is. Might buy it, will update...
