The BOOOOSH

The Booosh can also be utilized in rehearsals, and is especially useful if a studio is rented by the hour.

Whenever a rehearsal is going south because 2 or 3 of your bandmates are talking about their stupid day job or arguing about some nonsense instead of playing the next song..I use the Booosh to get things back on track.

You can tweak to your own style but mine is basically a Boosh followed by 3 Woooms and straight into loud Bong-Plaps (octave slapping and popping at a volume that can not be spoken over). It can be transcribed as:

Booosh-Wooom-Wooom-Wooom-Bong-Plap-Bong-Plap-Bong-Plap :||

The Bong-Plaps can be repeated until everybody shuts-the-****-up looks at you, the drummer clicks in, and you play the song. I have found this system fool proof over the course of many bands and many sessions.

Its been said before.:scowl:

It just seems like alotta cats don't understand how extremely powerful the gig-saving BOOOOOSH is. You said very early on in the thread that you don't wanna over BOOOOOOSH it. You can't wear it out. I understood exactly what you meant and a lot of these other cats who want to BOOOOOOOSH three times in the same song every time they get a gig obviously do not.

And don't scowl at me. I didn't think it need be spoken that the two of us are obviously brothers of the BOOOOOOSH for life, but maybe you forgot that.
