The Builder from Hell

Anyway, here's a quote he made about building, for starters

And a couple pics from one of his custom guitars

A knot right in the middle of the back (and where's the finish?):

Anyway, here's the thread (the "builder" is the thread maker), the good stuff starts to happen a page or 2 in:

Finally, the video review by the owner (?) of bmusic:

Hi.

Nice. I bet his instruments are top notch ;).

If the build quality is like it is in the pics, I'd say that the time estimates are lazy. Unfinished body or neck shouldn't take that long if the gluing times are deducted and the woodworker uses power tools and templates.
Yeah... those pics won me over.. So where do I sign up for MY build? The guy is self-deluded, half-blind or extremely lazy...

:D

. . . .

I am so so sorry for trying to stand up for De Vries. The guy is a sham and as a result of my standing up for him he has claimed another victim. If you want all the facts and the pictures then send me your email address to [email protected] and I'll send the info to you. Someone has already suggested displaying the guitar at the next Melbourne Guitar Show to shame him. Ouch.

Please accept my sincere apologies for thinking he might have been a little bit misunderstood. The guy is a talentless hack when it comes to dealing with clients and building a telecaster body. I beg for your forgiveness!
