No, each amp will provide its own EQ. (If I understood your question correctly).

You would be running them parallel.

You could run an ABY, but this would be the equivalent without the extra pedal. I'm assuming that the line out would not defeat the driver in the BA.

When Dog and KbD bought theirs the question came up about getting the NuTube tone to the PA and the answer was no. It’s s straight connection basically from the input to the board and people were disappointed because why would you do that?

So Knie they I’m thinking about it, I think, yes, I would get full NuTube tone out of both speakers. St least it’s worth giving it a shot.

M, maybe you’d buy a second Superbeetle rig and ABy that setup for full benefit. $800 for a 100-watt, 2 X 8 rig. Uhh...

Yeah, I've thought about developing a rig like that, but it is too expensive for too little me thinks. Your set up would be a little cheaper, since it is the BA and SB. If I had the two in the same room I know what I'd be doing.

Anyway, I removed the two five inch speakers from my Vox Pathfinder today and it said they are 4 ohms each. I did a mod on that amp to it has more watts now than 15. Given that the two speakers are 4 ohms each I'm guessing that the amp in that head is 2 ohms? Any thoughts? That means I could run four 8 ohm cabs off of it, or two 4 ohms if I've interpreted everything correctly. That would be quite the thing for such a cheap little combo ... It's not Nutube, though.

Doc, your numbers look to be perfectly correct, but that little amp pulling down a two-ohm load seems incredible, especially for its price.

I may be wrong, but me thinks there’s something else to it. I’ll check around tomorrow (late start for sure with the ensuing snow) and see what I can find out myself.

Your idea reminds me of the new Hartke 4 X 8 combo. I think it’s 500 watts and uses four eights. Continue on, Doctor, with your mad scientist-like thinking. You may be onto something.

It's funny you should ask @G-Dog. Maybe "funny" isn't the correct term. "Strange" or "Coincidence" may be better but it all relates to a bit of the back-story that came out yesterday. Apparently, while I was "under" the effects of pneumonia, the hospital insisted on getting my wife's best friends contacts and calling them. Seems the head doctor wasn't too sure of a satisfactory outcome.

In any event, I am breathing better (with oxygen) and have given up on the walker as it was slowing me down too much (kept getting caught up in the walker). I am hoping to get better control over my COPD and would really like to get back to a proper sleep routine and a bit more ambition!

Above I’d from the owner’s manual from both the guitar and bass rigs. What do you make of it? Will I be able to hook up other cabs? It sounds more like a different kind of grounding.

I admit, that is some seriously cautionary language, ah'ight. And the BTL acronym is new to me. But does the manual say anything about a special cable that is the only one that can be used? The "special speaker cable" came with the MiniBeetle without explanation?

I did a little research on BTL and have come to the tentative conclusion that this is just stronger language for what has been in other amp manuals for some years now, such as this excerpt from a 9-year-old Rumble 150/350 manual:

Something similar is also in your Rumble Stage 800 manual. What speaker cable have you used with your Stage?. I've occassionally used regular ¼" speaker cables with my Rumble 500 combo and Bassman 115 cab with no problems.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I claim no expertise, or electronic training. I'm open to learning new things.
