Yep Mike they certainly improved the Rumble line with the Ver. 3, especially the weight and still able to keep the punch. This V2 Rumble 75 is quite heavy actually, at twice the heft of the current Rumble 100 V3 at 46 lbs. (or 20.87 kg). I actually struggle to lift it over anything in my path Onehanded when carrying it alongside my right kneecap..its a formidable weight for such a smallish package...SOLID WEIGHTY AND PUNCHY.

I think I'm gonna go back* to using the B25 for our smaller gigs and semi-retire(sell?)the R40. The little ol' Bassman just has a fatter sound at the volumes I use it for. OK, "for which I use it." Better?

Looks like the Waffle House Express Combo, Mikey! Yum!!! I do applaud your creative thinking.

However, once again, the components, as tasty as they appear, are not connected at all by the manuf... uh, cook, ... or anyone else. Now, an egg(or toad?)-in-a-hole would be a different story. A true breakfast combo, even by The Club definition.

Not as far as I know GP..we have something called Waffle King though. My wife and I live very close to a lovely place called The Cheescake Shop and thats a terrible concern when we drive past it, because the steering wheel has a mind of its own and always ends up in their darn carpark loll

Pedantic question. Grits: singular or plural?

You can't have one grit, ergo "grits" is singular. Which complicates the question of "grits are good" (which sounds correct to the English-speaking ear), or "grits is good" (which is correct as the singular).

Baked cheesy grits with jalapeno is Solid, Weighty, and Punchy. Shrimp and grits. Grits and red eye gravy. They did not serve me grits in rehab! Wait, what?

Singular vs. plural...sounds like a school discussion. I’ll pass.

Interesting. Makes sense, GP, as long as the extra girth doesn’t bother you. I’m thinking about unloading the VOX combo amp myself. The Superbeetle has taken over 8” speaker duties and for not much more weight. I’d like to get a 10” combo at around 50-100 watts again.

If Doc wasn’t already doing the voodoo that he do, I’d offer it to him for an attractive price. Oh well...

GP, you’ll probably have good luck selling your Rumble. Let us know what you decide.

Well ya can’t fire a guy for trying, right? I’m not getting fired, am I? Oh dear, and during the holidays too? How shall I afford a new combo, whether it be musical instrument or tasty meal?

I know what to do. Another avatar with an even better combo. Let me get to work on that. Now where is the key card to Command Central?
