That’s two buggas for the day but I only have a couple of hours before it’s Sunday. I have to come up with one more bugga...I can’t take this pressure!
Time to try out the BG-75 for a bit and take a couple of snapshots. I finished my h’work for the weekend and may do some work Jazz Bass on Sunday.

As someone who does not know much of PJB, what am i looking at? Is it 2 combos and 2 extensions? And what is that gorgeous bass?
Ya want some more PJB? Not that this anything even close to what Ricardo laid out, here’s the first pics of my latest addition. Set it up before going to sleep, but planning on giving the little red toaster a spin this afternoon.
I have it set up on my Gramma and am using the wedge to get it closer to my ears. I know it would like to be even closer to the wall, but I’m not going any further back because of the heating ducts. Come summer, no problem. The second shot is to give you perspective on its size in comparison to the Ampeg cab.

I LOVE the red PJBs, but unfortunately, the used Flightcase BG-150 I got is in black. It's very classy and high-end looking, but the red just has that extra fashionable vibe to it.

Strange place to keep a red toaster..on top of an Ampeg Mike lol
Kinda pricy @ $479 out the door, but mine was $439, I believe, because it was a re-packaged demo. I looked it over and can’t find a thing wrong with it. The instructions and cabling looked brand new as well. I’m happy, regardless.
Two 35-watt digital amps with the power source outside the cabinet. I wanna day 9 lbs weight. Solidly constructed with a similar feel to Italian-made Markbass.
A couple of 4” drivers, but with the passive radiator in the back it’ll go down to 30 Hz. That means your low B string will play cleanly. Now you’re not be fooled into thinking you’re hearing one of your combos in the “Boom” department, but it’s supposed to be a clean, modern, and convincing bass tone that’s perfect for practice and small acoustic gigs possibly.
Plus, it’s cute. I didn’t think I’d care for the red except maybe at Christmas, but I honestly like the color. It’s darker than my Fender Greta was (lipstick red!) and is less in-your-face. PJB stuff is well-built, classy, no-frills stuff and from what I’ve gathered by turning the controls and flipping switches proves that.
Sound? Haven’t played it yet because I spent the afternoon setting up my Jazz with its new strings. I haven’t cleaned it up for a while and it showed. Strings went on beautifully and with a few pulls they’re already setting in. I’ll re-intonate tomorrow and try her out with the Red Express.

Patience, my fellow combo buyer! Seriously, Rod, I haven’t forgotten you and I’m jumping on tonight probably after the game with my Beatle bass. There will be a report, but I’d recommend waiting until the Jazz gets a crack at it, most likely early this week.
