Ooh, M, good luck with the hunt. Join me as I am doing the same. It's fun and I enjoy prowling around, but you have a great advantage as the sheer number of possible purchases is astronomical compared to mine. If you've never owned a Fender before, I wholeheartedly suggest a used Mustang, either MIA, MIM, or even MIJ. Heck, I'd even look at a new Squire Mustang. They look awfully nice too. Do you have anything in mind, M?
On a side note, I am seriously looking at a TC Subnup Octave pedal as what may be the final pedal purchase.
Here's what I'm down to unless the private eyes whom I hired find me something in the next few weeks:

What about an EB-0?
Made the late-June decision "only if it's a lefty." I've sat and stared at the Les Paul DC, but can't get past that my left hand (your right hand in a normal world) will be jammed between the pickup and volume knob. Then after the dust settles I'll lose interest in wanting to play it because it'll be uncomfortable. Now IF I could find either a lefty DC (I don't believe even built) or an EB-0, well, that's a different story. But time is running out as my Month of Fun is winding down. Then it's...July.
I love that, swinkster. I'm a sucker for a 'Paul shape but see above for my reason that won't happen unless you can find me a lefty that I can purchase. Then, I'm willing to pay you one million schmackeroons for your bird-dogging service! And that goes for everyone!

Okay, I probably should've included the monetary ceiling. Probably south of 13 Grand, and maybe a little closer to five to a thousand. And GP, you know I only buy "excellent, mint, or brand new" pieces of gear. That second model was only "very good." Both absolutely beautiful models though, but hardly worthy of your Fearless Leader.
swink, that's not a bad-looking bass, I must admit. Haven't checked it out yet but will do so as soon as I have a moment. Thanks!
Not a lefty, but I should get to start making some sawdust on my build this week. Maple front, mahogany back, Bartolini split coil JB pups, Warmoth lined fretless maple/ebony neck, black Gotoh bridge & tuners. Toyed with it being more an EB/SB shape but really wanted more of a LP shape. Will likely paint the JB control plate and leave off the pick guard. 
Gulp...they should be test for the virus. I think they have a high fever! A Custom Shop would be a better deal if one had the $$$.
Very nice. I'm not talented enough to make any of my own parts so I placed an order with Warmoth for almost everything over the weekend. I might have my new short scale roasted maple neck and roasted swamp ash body by late August! Soapbar pickups for it will arrive this week though because I'm not a manufacturing logistics expert. Still need to buy a bridge and preamp. Now I have to decide whether to get rid of anything to make room or to buy a bigger rack.
JPD, that sounds as if it's gonna be a nice bass! Please post the finished product so we can see your handiwork.
