Hey there, Dave! Do you have any idea how many people would give their left input jack to own that B100R? Not knocking your other two fine combos, but that has been a holy grail of combos on TB for eons. I'd love to own one and I don't even need it!

The Ignitions are great too, but the HCTs are better. Their shape and design is the exact same as the German made Hofners. Plus they have the lined frets! Absurdly, the HCTs have a sustain block in them, but that would add some variety since you already have a hollow body violin bass. Just some thoughts. I think that shop is willing to negotiate price on that bass too. The transparent black is cool too, as I've never seen that on the HCT models. I'm not sure how long those will be around. Hofner made a darkest a few years back that I wish I would have bought and are now hard to find. No pressure ...

Combo club members: it is my privilege as your Fearless Leader that I introduce you to not one, but two of our newest members. Gilead, possessing the very sweet Euphonic rig and the unknown (by me) combo with the wicker grill (is that a Mesa?), and Dave814, possessing a trio of combos, featured by an Ampeg B100R (even GP might like that Ampeg) are members #203 and #204 respectively. Please welcome them with open instrument cables. G'dog, bring out the membership broaches if you please. Or are they medallions? Cufflinks? Darn it, what are we giving new members again?

Interesting, and no worries, no pressure felt. You're just telling it like it is. Yeah, I saw the "make offer" and I'm kicking that around. BTW, what do you mean by "lined frets?" It's not fretless, is it? Educate me, Doctor.

When I look at the past and see how many smackaroons have been thrown over the bridge, I suggest to overload the new members with a warm welcome and a big applause...:)
Oh yeah before I forget, they promised us rules :hyper: in the not too distant past.:D

swink, what about the rules aren't you getting? It's not like they're based on metaphysical philosophy or anything. Basically, it's three simple statutes: 1)own a combo bass amp, post it, and love it. 2) treat everyone as you wish to be treated and don't purposely :poop: on other member's equipment, and 3) follow me with blind loyalty and I promise I'll get you to a combo bass player's final destination...Combo Nirvana! One day, probably on New Year's Eve of 2020, I'll explain to one and all just what Combo Nirvana offers all of us. That's it!

Psychopaths are individuals that do not think moral values are real. That means that 98% of the population believe moral values are real. That doesn't seem subjective to me.

Jeeze, you guys are debating some of my favorite stuff, and I have no time to join in and enjoy. May I belatedly chime in with these two respectful observations?

1. The fact that some theories are created before validation occurs with measurements that are intended to directly support or disprove those theories dose not mean that the theories are not based on the wealth of observable facts already extent.

2. Subjectivity does not equal agreement. The fact that most agree that murder is wrong does not mean that it is not a subjective value statement. It is merely a subjective value statement that is shared by the majority. I believe, good Doctor, that you and I would be taking a playful opposition as to whether a value is "objective" or "subjective."

Sadly, I'm afraid I've missed the fun on these. :(
