The Combo Club

Wow, you've had the 200 for some time then. Good for you. I just couldn't wrap my ears around the 15", but my heart goes pitter-patter everytime I turn on the 100. Different strokes, I guess, with both being great combos.
I really like the sound of 2 12s but that wasn't an off the shelf option. We do mostly classic rock(think James Jamerson sound)so I went for the 15. I can always cut lows if needed, but if they aren't there I can't make them magically materialize. <Addendum>I probably could have gotten the 2 100s-1 at a time-for about the same $ as I have tied up in the R200C and R112 cab. Oh, well, too soon old, too late smart.:smug:

Oh, well. Time to become horizontal and cease functioning. Thursday is prep day for Friday's colonoscopy. I'm looking forward to that with bait on my breath(something like that)
I'm sure I speak for all Combo Club members in wishing you all the best for Friday and for our members to keep you in our prayers Mike.
I had one in my 40's and its such a long funny story I'd need an entire page to tell it..needless to say the nurse who was holding my shoulders was laughing that much her tears were falling on my cheeks..the whole episode relates to an excess of flatulent gas as I practically cleared the room, but like I said its best not told loll :woot:

Giff, what you don't know is Jeremy and I are the only two bass players in the entire state! We do get our share of gigs though, don't we, JJ? We have to stay active though to fend off the guitarists who outnumber us two-fold...Iowa is a teeny slice of Heaven with a lot of corn, beans, and hogs!
Yeah Mike I remember Kevin Costner saying the same thing..and baseball players too loll

IF I had known this before I bought my R200C, I probably would have gone with 2 R100's; 1 for most gigs, both when needed. But, as my dad would say, "IF" the frog had wings he wouldn't bounce his @$$ on the creek bank.

Hey, Goner, it's not too late to get another R200c and use "1 for most gigs, both when needed."

BTW, I always heard it as "If a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his A$$ a-hoppin'!" It's got a rhythm I like. :roflmao:

Good luck! I had both a gastroscopy and colonoscopy four years ago, and while the procedure wasn’t all that pleasant, the prep day was worse. But as long as you get a good result, it’s a win.

Oh, yeah, the prep day, especially the night, is definitely the worst part of a colonoscopy. At my age I've had a few and every time they tell me, "this new solution is much easier on the system", and yet, it's not!

But, ever since PSA tests caught my prostate cancer at the ripe old age of 42, I am totally in favor of any and all preventative testing! Thank God that was the only one I ever had a major result on. Everything else has been only good news, so far.

Colonoscopy: Yeah, major PITA! But, worth it to head off worse!
PSA tests: Digital: Uncomfortable, but worth it. Blood: .No-brainer, do it!

I know! the first one I had, after I woke up, a nurse said I had to fart before I could leave (I'd been holding it in) I said "no problem" and cleared the room.

You haven't lived 'til you have a prostate biopsy. "You'll feel a little pinch" Now i know why they have you face the wall about 6" away-you can't jump.

Completed an "up periscope" just last month.

Admitting nurse asked about my prep day. Honestly, some jobs can't possibly pay enough. Um. Replied my prep day was like going back to the 60s. You had diarrhea in the 60s? she asks. "I went to a sit-in," I reply.

Teacher gave me an incomplete on my colonoscopy. Couldn't see everything. Showed me photos so I can see what they couldn't see. Repeating the procedure in a month.

Don't really see anything wrong with drinking white wine instead of water in the final hour of prep. My body shudders looking at that jug I must finish ....

In other news .... I think it's possible to take my Ampeg BA108v2 as my stage monitor on a light restaurant sort of deal. Scoped it out Tuesday. Can run FOH through my DI and that little puppy might be enough.

It's a better line of thought than prep day talk. No wish to think about my next prep day.

^ this is a dangerous line of inquiry if for comment if I say anything after the word "stirrups".

I told my doctor there was no way I'd finish that jug. I came close last time but any more and it wouldn't have stayed down. They're having me do a Miralax prep. You mix it with Gatorade/ Powerade. Hopefully it won't be as vile. Ask your quack if you can do that instead.
