b, thank you very much! Still doing yard work, but most is cleaned up, or at least it’s in piles. Fortunately, our trash pickup got through and took all the spoiled food with.
As for my passion, I did stay up last night and watch bits and pieces of the first two days. Good stuff, I thought. Yeah, it might’ve been nice to have made the lower-cost pre-purchase, but I think a lot of their material could be found elsewhere.
I especially thought the ladies did a fine job with their takes on the bass and the history that went with their respective themes.
Hope those of you who decided to check out the summit. I say anything bass is good for the planet!
While I was out working in the front this morning a guy walked by looking weary and asked if we got our power back on, and after I told him yes he looked at me forlornly and congratulated me. I told him I bet his street would be next, but as he walked away he said, “I think the trucks missed us and are probably somewhere else.” Kinda hard to follow that up so I asked him, “Have ya ever tried to deadlift an Eighties’ Peavey 115 bass combo amp into the back of a truck?” The conversation ended as he wandered off surely pondering that question.
Strange times we live in...
