aw sorry I love Little Feat and it's true Waiting for Columbus got a lot of time in my cassette deck on the road. Guess the tale had to be told? I've not thought of my Danish guitarist friend in decades, and not seen him in as long.

No problem! Lol! I was jesting sort of. Oh yes, I was well aware his habits even way back when. I do like Little Feat a lot. Got acquainted with them back in the 70s. Used to bus tables at a little post hippie restaurant that was very eclectic. Waiting for Columbus was one of the tapes on constant loop on the overhead.Kenny Gradney was the bassist. Loved that place. Was introduced to a wide variety of artists and styles back then.

One of the downsides of a thread this large is that it's impossible to parse it all to find a specific answer. So apologies for asking something that's probably already been answered.

The GK MB210-II seems a direct competitor to the Fender Rumble 500v3, except for price. The GK is $200 more new street.

I owned a 400RB head back in the 80s. It was OK. It did what it was supposed to do.

Has anyone tried these two amps head to head? I actually dig the GK's understated cosmetics, more functional DI, and the idea that it's made in USA.

Thoughts?

There's a lot to like about he GK combos. I've not owned one, but played through a few and they would probably be my second choice. I just prefer the Rumble tone vs the GK tone. Rumble 500 combo, vintage setting, Precision Bass with LaBella Flats....just does it for me! Now add an extension cab to said 500 combo -
