That's what FL stands for. I was thinking fretless, as in the Talkbass dictionary TalkBass Acronyms | TalkBass.com or Florida. Neither fitted.

Resoled — my combo sees loads of work in 21.
Combo, as in a singular noun, because there's no reason I can see to put the BA108v2+ (that, strangely, sounds like a 'Peg) on a stage. The PJB BG-400 is more than capable of low volume clarity. In part it's because the knobs are useful through their entire range. This came as a minor surprise for me as I learned to use the amp.

Prediction: Ampeg, now under the Yamaha umbrella, comes out with a newly-designed combo series where even their lowly 20-watt amp has XLR out for recording purposes. This was due to the number of TalkBass junkies demanding it on what they feel is the overall best-sounding convo in the entire line.
