Oops. I forgot to say that I've owned both of these combos before. Both sound really nice and loud. I sold both of them to go with amp/cab setups. I've missed both of them dearly. If they gave the 100 a horn it would be the perfect combo IMO.
Then it would be a R200c-which I also have. And another 50-100 watts. Then I'd agree with ya!

Sound like a 'peg? No, because it would still sound like an Ampeg. I call ‘check’ on your king.![]()

That's what FL stands for. I was thinking fretless, as in the Talkbass dictionary TalkBass Acronyms | TalkBass.com or Florida. Neither fitted.Better to ask forgiveness than permission. He is a very benevolent Fearless Leader.

I believe there's a logic behind: FearlessLeader-FrettLess-FLorida all linked by the big CC (not only ComboClub but also Coco Chanel)That's what FL stands for. I was thinking fretless, as in the Talkbass dictionary TalkBass Acronyms | TalkBass.com or Florida. Neither fitted.

Resoled — my combo sees loads of work in 21.
Combo, as in a singular noun, because there's no reason I can see to put the BA108v2+ (that, strangely, sounds like a 'Peg) on a stage. The PJB BG-400 is more than capable of low volume clarity. In part it's because the knobs are useful through their entire range. This came as a minor surprise for me as I learned to use the amp.
