The Combo Club

Already some fine suggestions. What’s your price range, C7? The portable Petersen looks to be as good as any of their full-size models. I’ve always had good luck with Snark tuners. Even my tiny Fender headstock tuner works pretty well, though it sometimes spins round and round like a roulette wheel.

I’ve a red Snark tuner. It does an absolutely phenomenal job!

If the Combo Clubhouse, with it's full body sanitizing stations and holodeck virtual presence facilities, is not a sufficiently exotic and welcoming venue, then I have no other venue recommendation. But I humbly suggest the name of Bass Amp ComboNation for consideration by "the committee". BTW, do I understand correctly that this "committee" is not the same Tribunal of Conflcts recently named?

Nope, they're different entities. The Committee is so secret, after discussing it we’d have to strap a Peavey TNT 130 to your back and make ya walk home from Cincinnati.

That was just one, short, casual, hangout, just that one time only. I try not to impose myself on anyone too much. (A little goes a long way.)
.

Much like, Brylcream, a little dab will do ya! Don’t believe the press, you are loved and respected by all here and at the Rumbler Club. I can’t wait to see what you come up with to make us smile in 2021!

Oops. I forgot to say that I've owned both of these combos before. Both sound really nice and loud. I sold both of them to go with amp/cab setups. I've missed both of them dearly. If they gave the 100 a horn it would be the perfect combo IMO.

12/29/20, 1125-got call from drummer. He'd called the club where we're scheduled to play tomorrow(11/30) night for a NYEE party. The manager apologized for the fact that the club secretary 'forgot' to tell us-2 WEEKS ago-that the party was 86'ed. Thankfully, we found out b4 we all drove up there to find a "CLOSED" sign on the !@#$%^& door.:sour::mad::banghead:

Are there actual Hartke dealers in the brick ‘n mortars, and more importantly, do they have the current line in stock? Otherwise, you could roll the dice and buy one, audition it at home for a month, and return it for an exchange. At that price point there are zillions of quality combos you could choose from.
I think Sweetwater has them in stock. Could be quite a distance for some.

"Liking" in solidarity, but very irritated by the situation you find yourself in.

I was really looking forward to living vicariously through your gig as you told us afterward how well it went.

We didn't bother them; they didn't bother us. The manager did promise a re-booking. I also believe in The Great Pumpkin and the Namibian Prince.:rollno:

MS, for that custom-made combo, I'm awarding you with membership #222. Actually, that was the next available number but it's all in the presentation. Congratulations and welcome aboard! You will be one of our British reps, and boy, you are definitely in the northern UK. Check out Wick, folks. Might be a good rendevous spot for a future Combo Convention!
Thank you! That's a great number, easy to remember too!
Aye I'm pretty far north. Only about 15 minutes away from John o' Groats! Awesome scenery, and some friendly folks! :)

Really wonder how I gonna remember #219 at my age ... any experience or advice out there? :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
Though, the reward is straight forward: be in - or not to be

Put it in your TB signature and you don't have to remember. Click on your name at the top right of the page and get a drop-down menu, then click on Signature.

Well let's try that - you pushed the limits to 701 !!! BRAVO :smug:

Looks like you did it! Congratulations.

And, now, just what limits did I push?
.
I wanted to ask s.th. about the CC rules: posting of combos is accepted; and what about decorating the one or the other basse around the combos ???:D

Rules? RULEZ?!? We don't need no steenking rules! Go ahead. Go wild. Push your limits!
