I'm totally used to the KK glazed donut so anything else is a pretender. To me. I'll eat almost any donut-cake , yeast, whatever, but given a choice, it'll always be Krispy Kreme.

For me, '12's are the new 15's', and this format with a powered single 12 and an add-on extension would fit the bill just fine for yrhmblsvnt. Curious about this one (but I keep hoping one of our favorite designers with a great amp company would visit this format for Uncle Joey, but I'm still waiting . . . . .), wonder if anybody has one, what it's like etc. Never handled any Tech 21 gear, but I know they're well respected. Anybody ?
(yeah, I know I could put a Subway head on a pair of 112's, but I have a soft spot for combos, so there)

A Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe is an Always On pedal for me. I'd expect the EQ on the VT Bass 200 is pretty much the same. "Nice tone," and "good sound" are compliments I've been paid by other musicians.
I just brought home a Tech 21 power engine cab, so I can run my REDDI through it. Amazing...
There's no tweeter in the Rumble 100 combo. Sorry. So, you can go ahead and send Goner his donut, Fearless Leader.

Thank you, G'dog, for the clarification. I've been working too many hours of late and must've misspoken. I know, let's take a look. Remember, I have a 100 sitting literally six feet from my foot as I type this.

So as you can see, my also-overworked compadre, I never said it had a tweeter but a bright switch to pump up the highs a bit, and that if he brings the 100 to the gig, I'd bet him a donut (now he wants a Krispy Kreme) that the switch would be on. Otherwise, the 100 is too darn dark for the kids to hear his sweet vibe up the fretboard.
I get it though, between the Rumbler Club and here you're being twisted into a pretzel. Heck, I make more mistakes in one hour than you do in an hour and 15 minutes! I recommend we make GP buy both you and me a KK each and we'll sit out in his driveway, staring at the Kasino, while eating it. Right now, I'd give my fretboard nut for some warm weather and NO snow!

Nu, my man, you already hold the answer to your plight. Go with your heart and let your wallet follow behind. To me, it's a no-brainer, but first I must ask...which specific model are you looking at? I'm assuming used, but I don't want to assume anything. If it's the PF-410HLF then I think, except for looks, it outta match up pretty decently. If it's an SVT series, then so much the better. Just stick your combo on top and now you possess a 6 X 10 weapon of mass destruction!
Ampeg cabs tend to run, according to the manuals I was just looking at, around 100 dB with one-watt sensitivity. I'd guess your combo would be about the same (no such data provided for the combos) so that means they'll all play about the same level; the combo won't blow away the 410s in volume. Again, let us know what you're looking at and we see how well the fit would be. Most likely it'll be fine.

Price isn't a factor in the decision process. my bass money is my self allowance for this hobby. I'm chuckling that I'll be parting ways with a rather pricey markbass combo for this little ampeg that I snagged for 250 bucks. I've decided to get another 500watt or so head and try out some different cabs. I can toss the extra cab at the BA and see how they sound too.
That’s a whole other kettle of fish, Nuage. You have about a million options now. Ampeg makes decent heads, especially in the SVT-line, but I’m totally digging my Orange Terror Bass that’ll kick out 500 watts into a 4-ohm load
Find an amp you like, try some cabs (410, 210, 115) and see what ya like. Add an Ampeg preamp pedal with another brand’s amp/cab and you’ll turn it into a nice-sounding rig. And like you said, take a 210 or a 410 cab and run it with your combo. I think you’ll like it.
KK's were pretty big in Miami in the early 60's. IDK 'bout now. I don't go 'home' anymore.
Just got back to the house from yet another jazz gig. Different saxman tonight. Halfway decent crowd, crappy money but we had some fun. Played my jazz bass*(in other words my 1967 NR Thunderbird)

I asked someone smarter than me and she agreed that we didn't have our first Krispy Kreme 'round these parts until the 90s. It's funny because I heard a rumor about compact discs too. Something like no surface noise and you can play them in your Nash.
And...your 100? Or did you take my advice and go with the 200? Glad you had fun.
Nope. R40(bright button in/on.) Used the 200c Wednesday night. 100 would have sufficed. Tonight's gig was the tiny space-the one where I used the B25 last week.
