The Combo Club

I know you’re not a fan of the tweeter, but you did use your bright button. I guess it’ll be on if you use the 100. I personally don’t mind that though, and I'll bet a whole glazed donut it’ll be on if you bring the 100. Yeah, it should work out for ya.
I've noticed that, as the book of words says, "tweeter may add unwanted distortion". It does. For me all distortion/OD is unwanted. So, yeah.
BTW, KK on the donut.
I find the 'bright' button acts similarly to the presence knob on old 7ender amps.

There's no tweeter in the PJB BG400 combo, yet it's spec'd for 30Hz-15KHz. My vintage button is the VT Bass pedal. With the cab sim engaged there's a steep roll off at 5KHz. According to the Fine Manual, the speaker sim is "tuned to match 10-inch American style bass speakers ... designed for a smooth, even response as would be achieved by a multiply-miked cabinet, without the peaks, valleys, and notches associated with single miking." TL;DR it's makes everything sound like a driven 'Peg at low volumes :)

There's no tweeter in the Rumble 100 combo. Sorry. So, you can go ahead and send Goner his donut, Fearless Leader.

But, if it doesn't exist, is it therefore on, or is it off?

I believe FL was referring to my having the 'bright' button in/on.
And KK's are best hot offa the grill.

I think they are referring to the rolling grill they plop onto to let the glaze set up.
In any case they are quite awesome:drool:
They are ok. I prefer standard "Northern Donuts" myself.
Here's to our amps that sound like Krispy Kremes taste.
actually my amp sounds like a Krispy Kreme after it’s been eaten. Buuuurp!

Wait.
I thought they only sold basses, guitars, amps, etc.
I was waiting for someone to make that comment, glad I could count on you! :D

Just to set the record straight, the music company is Sweetwater, and the donut company is Sweetwater's Donut Mill.

Big difference. When Krispy Kreme came to town, they lasted about 2 years before realizing that folks who had both preferred Sweetwater's. Then the double kay went on it's way, and things went back to normal in sugarville.

Some o’ you need to go to Portland OR for a way-off-the-beaten-path Voodoo Doughnut. There’s a Krispy Kreme down 82nd but this local insanity is a don’t miss experience.
Voodoo made it to Austin. We also have a place that serves burgers using Voodoo donuts as buns.
They’re awesome, but a still hot KK is in a class by itself.

I grew up eating KK's from about age 7-68 years ago. I'll eat almost any donut, but KK is what I want.
