I've been wondering if you ever got yours. Hang in there, trust me it's worth it. I had a practice today with my band and the Bugera performed flawlessly! It stayed on for about 6 hours and didn't get warm. We had 2 acoustic guitars, 2 vocals, and a cajon going through 2 monitors. I did not DI my bass, I just used the amp. My bass cut through perfectly and sounded great. The only gripe with the tone is that the Bugera is bright. I had to cut my tone knob on my P Bass down to about half on most songs, but that's a good thing IMO. I've played some amps, where they are not bright enough, so having enough highs on tap is great. Well, still no Bugera combo available. I called Sweetwater to see what’s up, and was told they may be in by first week in April. It was suggested I preorder to ensure I get one because that first lot is already almost all spoken for. I told “Reuben” that I had preordered already, and he was able to confirm that, sooooo....still waiting.
Oh, and TERRIBLE news, a key member of our little Rez band is bailing on us and heading back East. His girlfriend was at the end of her rope here on the Rez, and with the pandemic and all- she convinced him to seek other opportunities- He wasn’t ready to go, but....Grrrrr. He will be missed! I don’t know how the band can continue without some fresh faces. Oh Well! A door closes, a window opens somewhere!! (Or is the saying “It’s five o’clock somewhere” more apt
Meanwhile, to keep things interesting, I pulled the trigger on one of these!

it looks versatile (DI, tuner, boost, compression), fun (chorus, analog octave, envelope filter w/fuzz...), useful (preamp section-Ampeg voiced, thru signal, and FX loop before chorus in chain). Oh, the tuner also mutes signal when engaged. Also included is an AC adapter- pretty sweet!
I hemmed and hawed, don’t really NEED it right now, but it seemed so cool- With the band despair fresh, I pulled the trigger two days ago on Amazon.
Best thing???? I went to site to grab the pic of the Dapper Bass DI, and......the price shot up $40!!!

Thanks for the update at practice!! I agree- I’ve never had a “bright” amp. I’m looking forward to the aluminum speaker- can always tame it a bit, but hard to add brightness without sacrificing low end.

You two look to be starting your own Bugera Appreciation Club! I'm really interested in how it does for ya, 68, because it's the first Bugera I think we've had here, and admittedly, I have little to no experience with the brand other than their five-watt tube guitar combo a few years ago. I thought the build quality was fine for the price point and enjoyed butchering rhythm guitar through it. We'll all be patient with you!
IDK why I happened to think of this rig I hooked up once to see if I could. Dang, it was loud!(R200c>R112/Kasino.)
The brightness can be tamed on this amp. With my tone knob all the way up, my P Bass sounds kinda like an active bass. Yeah I love em! Talkbass as a whole does not. There probably would be more bashing than anything else lol.
I hear ya, b90. This club was built on acceptance of what our members and readers use for their amplification regardless of the brand. That doesn’t mean you have to love every combo ever built, but a healthy respect for each other’s equipment is the classy way we like to roll here. Maybe it’ll be mimicked around TB, who knows?
I too seriously looked at Bugera amp heads, both tube and MOSFET, prior to buying my Terror Bass amp.
GP, it looks loud just sitting in your room. Imagine what it sounds like with a sweet P-bass plugged into it!
I seem to recall some members discussing buying the Brugera combo in here a while ago. It doesn't get the love Mesa Boogie or Ampeg do, but all the people on here have one seem to think it's a great amp for the price.

This is true. I'm try not to knock combo amp brands. I remember when I was buying and selling gear alot, I scoffed at the idea of owning a Bugera combo. Fast forward to today and I love the combo so much, I may buy 2 of them. When I first joined my first money making band, I thought that Markbass combos was the way to go based on the glowing reviews here on TB and the fact that I thought more expensive equals better. I bought the MB 121p combo first and it hissed really bad. I returned it and bought the Jeff Berlin combo. I played one gig with the JB combo and quickly realized it was not loud enough. IMO the Bugera beats the Jeff Berlin and 121p combos in every way besides weight. Heck I have the coveted Rumble 500 combo and I still bring the Bugera to practices and gigs. Maybe I'm getting a little biased
