Alright!! I’ve pre-ordered the Ampeg RB115 from MF!! As a loyalty, I get the 8% to spent on other random gear etc. “think how much I Saved, Honey!”
The price seems reasonable- on par with Rumble 200, features on par with Rumble. Only three band EQ stage, but an EQ pedal can tweak that. Weight is the same. Both have Eminence speakers I believe, and are built in China (like most things, so no biggie there)
I don’t know when they will be arriving, I hear May. I have been racking up some OT at clinic with these Saturday vaccine clinics, so I can safely preorder this, and cover it with a good conscience!!
It really SEEMS to be what I’m looking for in the long run. I like Ampeg sound, I want something lighter than 50lbs (that is what the Bugera weighs well, 48.5..
) and unlike either the Ampeg BA115V2 or the Bugera, this has line out for extension cab like the Rumble. Just so happens I have that 2x10” cab for my Ampeg Micro CL rated at 8ohm 100W. Should pair perfect with the Rocket RB115 to give definition to the 15” if I want!
Yay! More to follow at some point!

Hey fellow combo-ites. I'm about to become a lot less grumpier (I hope). Pictured below is a grumpy old fart sending his retirement package in to the local expert on such things. Looks like I'll have a lot more time to practice come July. This also involves a move to the Portland, Maine area (with both my combos). My daughter and son-in-law are going to provide housing for the wife and I in return for child care. Like I have to be enticed to hang with the grandkids...lol. Sometime late this summer look for a CL ad: "bassist looking..."
Hey! @biguglyman !! That’s GREAT! Portland is an awesome town to move to- I’m a transplanted New Englander who spent a lot of time there!! Check out Gritty McDuffs brewpub and restaurant! Awesome food and suds. Got breakfast- go to Beckys on Commecial St on waterfront. Take the grandkids out to Ft Gorges in the bay, and of course up to Freeport as well- Check out the “Desert of Maine” there as well!!

BugUgly, congrats on your impending jubilación! You will be amazed at how little FREE time you have. Dedicate a given time slot each day to keep practicing....headphone style really helps keep the peace...
You should have sent out your retirement package in a FedEx or UPS (oops, did I swear?) envelope just for laughs....
