Does using a guitar combo with it's stock 12" speaker disconnected and the speaker out instead hooked up to a bass cab?
In that case here is my 160W (@ 4Ohm) Peavey Solo Special 112 guitar combo, modded with a speaker output jack socket, used with the 12" stock build in unit disconnected and instead hooked up to a 400W 4Ohm SWR Triad I bass cab, equipped with 1x15" + 1x10" speaker units + high frequency tweeter horn, the 15" speaker unit receiving the full signal, while an internal crossover filter sees to that the 10" unit only receives the part of the signal that is between 100Hz and 5kHz, and that the high frequency tweeter horn receives everything above 5kHz of the signal, the amount of signal send to the tweeter horn being adjustable via a build in tweeter attenuator :

Well, only having cheked out the tone of my SWR Triad I cab at home in my apartment at relatively low volume levels, where it sounded amazing, I discovered at the first rehearsal with the bass/vocals and drums/vocals duo I just started with a drummer friend of mine (first band I've been in for years), which I've been working for bass parts for for some time, that it didn't really sound great at higher volume levels, like generic and boring in a somewhat anemic and sort of weak, thin and lifeless way, seriously lacking punch, snap and sparkle, and that my much cheaper The Box PA 502, full range PA speaker, sounded much fuller and livelier, and overall just a lot better, with more depth, punch and snap to it's tone, despite having cost me just what equals about 210$ from new, which would put it in the budget price range of PA speakers, and even make it cheaper than the Triad I cab costed me used, and considerably less than what the Triad I cab would have costed from new.
The Box PA 502 is a 300W RMS (1200W Peak) 1x15" (300W) + 1.7" tweeter horn (100W) PA speaker in a plastic housing, and unlike the SWR Triad that runs at 4 Ohm, this PA speaker runs at 8 Ohm, meaning that my 160W @ 4 Ohm Peavey at maximum capacity according to the manual is only able to push the speaker with about 100W, it is however still plenty of loud enough at far from the Peavey's max capacity, as it is just me and the drummer, and that he is not the most hard hitting drummer either, and actually, despite being on the cheaper side, it was one of the PA speakers I could find which frequency response go lowest, rated to 35Hz - 20kHz (-10dB) and 45Hz - 18kHz (-3dB), which is actually lower than some dedicated bass cabs are rated to, and since I tune my bass in F# standard tuning, 2 half steps above regular 4 string E standard tuning, meaning my lowest note is at about 46Hz, it reproduce the bottom end of my signal perfectly well, and is actually more bassy and tight in the low end than the SWR, sounding very close to what I hear in my headphones, a pair of proper quality, near flat response, studio, Senheiser HD 380 Pro, at home with my ampless setup, which is what I use with the Peavey combo, untilizing the Effects Return poweramp input of it, and having a faux EQ based cab sim before it, basically just rolling off the upper treble frequencies, as well as using a 40Hz HPF.
I don't have a picture of how my setup looks now, but I have the Peavey Solo Special 112, modded with a speaker out jack, and the build in 12" speaker unit disconnected, standing on the ground, and then the The Box PA 502 PA speaker connected, standing on top of the SWR Triad I cab, which currently basically just functions as a glorified speaker stand.

I suspect soon to properly ditch the Peavey combo as an amplifier for this setup for a poweramp that allows me to take full advantage of the PA speaker's 300W, as said currently only being able to run it at max 100W with the Peavey, since the speaker out impedance of the Peavey is 4 Ohm and the The Box PA speaker is 8 Ohm, plus it will make it easier to transport, the The Box PA speaker also being a good deal lighter than the Triad I cab, though I do like the tone the poweramp of the Peavey delivers.
So guess it will only be a matter of time before I am not worthy for this club any longer.

Ok, got to play around with the new little 108. Build quality seems really good. All controls work well and easy to dial in a bunch of tones. Even though this is a small amp, it’s all ampeg. I love the ampeg tone, so if you’re like me this is a great little practice amp. I’m not really a dirt guy, clean tones are more my style, but the SGT sounds ok. Probably will sound better on the bigger amps as you have more control over the SGT tone. On this one it’s on or off. It’s got some decent volume. Acoustic jams or practice is where this little guy works would be my guess. For 149$ Ampegs got a winner here, but I really like Ampeg gear. I love Yamaha gear even more. Haha

Sorry, Goner, but there was no 7ender Rumble Club Wiki page back in 2015. So, how were you to know? Well, the connecting of one amp's FX Send (or Pre Out) to another amp's FX Return (or Power In) has long been known by some as a way to connect a pair of amps, with the details being different for different makes and models (and not always documented in their manuals) . For example, my 2 early 2000s Bassman combos can do it, but the Master Volume on each amp still controls each amp!
How many of us Comboites* connect 2 amps together and how do you do it?

Yeah, I know there was no wiki. The chaining is mentioned in the 'book of words' but ya don't get one of those 'til ya buy the amp-at least not in 2015.
I was coming to the Rumbles from a Kustom R&P 150 bass amp that weighed about as much as an older Peavey and a Peavey MAX 110, neither of which had efx out, therefore I was totally w/o knowledge of that little 'trick'. Oh, well, live and learn(I just made that up)
