The Combo Club

It's Monday night and the reality of four more work days... ugh...

iagtrplyr, I agree and even though I'm new to the club, I have really enjoyed following this thread. It has a nice relaxed feel to it.

Good luck as you begin the new school year. I don't envy the challenges you face but I do want to thank you for what you do. I have known a few teachers over the years and it can be a thankless job.

The nurses who saw after me in these last couple weeks got my thank yous.

Augh!. I wouldn't want a nurse, or anybidy else, sawing after me, thank you very much

New Jr Jet Bass. Gave her a 30 minute run through on the Studio40:
And the survey says: Definitely a Keeper! Wife said, hang it on the wall! dumbass, I told you to keep it:roflmao:
Lots of tonal variations. I even got a P bass tone out of her on one of the Studio V3 settings. Great Jack Bruce tone and umph for some live Cream jams. Plenty of very clean trebly tones and sounds good distorted too. A nice flavoring of growl on Deep Bass(right up a rumblers ally). I think GP would even like it.
And the wife says it's darn pretty, especially for just $255.00. Amazing what one can get today; that's ~$51.00 in 1967 dollars.:D

Next up, the biggly bugger 15 Speaker then the stack....:cigar:

My bass stays on or near my person, so anything that hits the bass in my gig bag hard enough to take it out is going to take me out with it. And as I take care not to place myself in harm's way, medium duty gig bags serve me well. When I fly with my bass, it goes in a Reunion Blues Continental Voyager. That's an entirely different kind of gig bag than the basic models anyway, and always feel my bass is safe in one.

Flying with basses is a different conversation, anyway.
