The Combo Club

New Jr Jet Bass. Gave her a 30 minute run through on the Studio40:
And the survey says: Definitely a Keeper! Wife said, hang it on the wall! dumbass, I told you to keep it:roflmao:
Lots of tonal variations. I even got a P bass tone out of her on one of the Studio V3 settings. Great Jack Bruce tone and umph for some live Cream jams. Plenty of very clean trebly tones and sounds good distorted too. A nice flavoring of growl on Deep Bass(right up a rumblers ally). I think GP would even like it.
And the wife says it's darn pretty, especially for just $255.00. Amazing what one can get today; that's ~$51.00 in 1967 dollars.:D

Next up, the biggly bugger 15 Speaker then the stack....:cigar:
I wonder if an EB-0 would fit in that case.

Looks close. Call Sweetwater. Someone there has to know.

There is a specific EB-0/3 case available. I bought a generic case for my(then)Squier VM Jaguar SS. Now the EB-0 goes in it. A little big for the bass, but better than a cheap @$$ gig bag.

Looking for affordable case to fit Gibson EB2 or clone

Maybe this will help

I love the Gator gig bags. Not really hard case not really a gig bag. Kinda in between.

It’s a really snug fit fit the American Performer but good bags. Reasonable price. Not really a hard shell not really a gig bag but with all the upside of both really.

Here's my Mustang PJ in a Gator "Guitar" case...nice tight fit with lots of storage:

M Favata, Great info in the dimension photos for the EAKCS, what is the depth/thickness available?

I’m gonna have some fun with this!

The bottom bowl is about 3” deep.

image.jpg

The top bowl is about 1.5” deep.

So a total of 3.5” including the fur!

Another way to look at is to compute in Beatles hectares.
As the picture clearly shows there are 9 Beatles CDs stacked here including “Beatles For Sale”

image.jpg

In this picture we’ve removed “Beatles For Sale” (In my estimation no great loss )

image.jpg

With “Beatles For Sale” included its 3.5” or 9 Beatles hectares, but the lid didn’t really close well.

As it so happens when “Beatles For Sale” is removed thankfully there is left about 3.25” or 8 Beatles hectares. And the lid closed perfectly.

My Gretsch Junior Jet is 2.5” (unknown Beatles hectares at this time)

Hope this helps!!!

Tried that one with my short scale StingRay. It only fits with the padding at the bottom removed. Why buy a case that you have to take some of the protection out of to get things to fit?
