Larry Kaye said:I use Schroeder cabinets...as many people that have read the Schroe megathread here at talkbass.com. there are probably, who knows, 100's or times more bassists who have never heard of 'em. How I describe 'em....their the lightest, cheapest, smallest, loudest, nicest sounding cabinets I've ever played. I find a certain joy, egostroke, pat on the back, call it what you want to say that I don't need to spend $3500 on a bass, $2800 on a head, and $2000 on a cabinet to sound like I have. This is where I feel others DON'T GET IT and while I'm sounding just as good as you, I got enough left over to, well in my case, at least pay my rent for a few months!!!

Wating for the softest tp yet,

Attacking me is certainly no way to get your point across (whatever it is) and frankly makes you look kind of silly to suppose you know what impresses anyone else here.
Sounds like you're trying to eliminate 50% of TalkBass posts!Scottie Johnson said:Don't make me post the "Beating a Dead Horse" picture again.![]()
Nino Valenti said:Hey Guys, did you know that Sadowsky SA200 is an awesome sounding 200W all tube head that costs $2800.00?
Man the thing sounds great.
metron said:wow... so hows that SA200 tom? you say its the best sounding you have heard yet? is that out of all your amps or just the tube ones?

tombowlus said:Wow, back on topic! I was a bit confused there.
I'd say it's certainly my favorite tone that I have been able to coax from a tube head, and that probably goes for SS as well (the Walter Woods Ultra is a really nice sounding head, but I think the SA200 edges it a bit in the tone department).

V8 Vs. SA200?
What's the main tonal differences/characteristics/feel?
cheezewiz said:Knowing what Tom has to choose from, that is high praise indeed.

If so, any problems due to effectively not having mids control on the EQ?
