It is Vintage...
.... but a Cheap beginners bass from 1977 give or take is still exactly that... a Cheap Vintage bass.

That is "vintage" too... but would you even pay $200 for it?
Probably not.
If you look at my profile... almost all of my basses are older than me.
I've never bought a New bass in my life. First one was a gift, and my most expensive one was bought from a pawn shop. Cost more than any two and even three of my other basses put together, and it gets played an average total of twice a year. Stupid 5 Strings. And oh joy. I now have more amps than I do basses.

dude. something you have to learn is : vintage does not always equal good. 70's fender's are pretty much viewed as over priced wastes of good wood (to some)

yeah, I know about this unfortunate overpricedness. I'd of course try it out first. Maybe when this whole "VINTAGE!!!!!!!!!AAGHHH!" fad thing goes away, they'll come back down in price. Anyways. Pointy basses are the only allowed discussion topic from here on out.

Most likely you will become more evil as you age I'm 31 so I have more practice I know when I was 17 I wasn't as evil as I am now but I also had purple hair so that helped.
