so i gotta hold off on my purchase of the 610 till i pay off the 100t. i put 750 down so i got 750 left to pay. i figure ill have paid in 2 months. My sweetwater rep said he only has two in stock so i REALLY HOPE THERE IN STOCK THEN!! the 410 has been out of stock for 6 weeks and isnt due in till nov 6 or so. WITH NEODYMIUM BECOMING MORE RARE (THATS WHAT I READ ANYWYAS) DO U THINK THE FENDER NEO CABS WILL BE AROUND FOR A WHILE? or aany neo speakers for that matter. maybe ive been misinformed does somebody know the real scoop?

Does this amp have any relation to the late-90s Fender-produced Sunn Model Ts? I have one of the old Sunn T50C amps from that era, and I love it for bass, but need a bit more volume and headroom. If the overdrive channel is anything like the one on the Sunn, this is a no-brainer for me.

Or am I stuck saving for a 300pro?

I had the 300T SUNN head, which is the Fender 300 PRO they used to make.
The thing was a beast and a monster of Tone !!! I do find the Super Bassman to be an evolution fro that head and the overdrive channel is simply super natural with lots of dynamics! The SUNN was awesome too and still is!!! You will not regret the Super Bassman or the 100T for sure !!!

the other night at a gig the bass was so loud but anything on the d and g strings disappeared. i tried different settings but still couldnt hear the highs. my son might have turned the horn off (he is two and loves switches buttons and anything he can mess with) but would this of completely made those notes disappear? the bass wa on 1 mids on 2 or 3 and treble on 6 or 7. still no go. vintage channel. i mean the bass was LOUD! im thinkin maybe its my goliath. i really have no experience with cabs. the goliath was/is my one and only cab. the goliath is front ported (slots on the bottom). idk just thought id ask. ill try it again this thurs with different settings (making the sure the horn is on). THANKS !!

the Model Ts, and 300 pro are each different amps and are different from the new 100t/Super 300 now offered.

I know the new Super Bassman 300 is different, but what was different about the Sunn 300T released by Fender in the late 90's & the Fender Bassman 300 Pro? Looked like just the name badge to me.

yeah, those are the same amp. before that though was the fender/Sunn model t reissue which was "the same as" the original Sunn model t, but don't confuse that with the fender/Sunn 300t. the model t was 120 Watts mostly for guitar and filled with high gain glory.

Well, Fender certainly seems to have hit the button with this amp, don't they? The word I have down here is that both local and international demand is so great that they are struggling to meet it. So long as they keep up quality control and don't try to cut corners they seem to be stealing a march on other mass tube amp manufacturers, it is a long time since I have seen this much serious interest in Fender bass amplification.

Hello,

Thanks Tim for starting the thread, it helped me decide to get one.

I picked all the leaves off the money tree to get it so I had to wait until I picked it up today to order my 115 Neo to go with it.

Of course when I said I wanted to get another 115 down the road the guy said I should get a 4x10 to go with the 115. :hmm:

The second picture is my starter kit. 2012 American Special Jazz Bass and a 2012 Rumble 150 combo.

I liked it so much I decided to upgrade my gear. :hyper:

BP.

I've never been a "fender guy" but after years of evolution from ampeg to boutique to vintage.. I've now got an almost exclusive fender collection of amps and I couldn't be happier. its weird
