Thanks for the response Freight Train. I guess the way I'm looking at the 100T plus power amp option vs. the Super Bassman is that you'd have a bit more versatility that way. I'm thinking that the 100T would be enough for any gig I'd be playing at this point, pretty much any club over 100+ people would have PA support anyways as well.

hey guys maybe somebody can help me understand "to move more air". Like the way the 610 is said to move more air. So ive been looking at the 610 and at the moment i can get a good financing deal on it. but have been thinking about the 115 to pair with my goliath III. both cabs are 8 ohm so theres no prob there. I would buy matching grill cloth for the goliath so everything would be a pretty match. But looks are the least of my concern. Would the 410 goliath and 115 paired together move air like the 610? do u think 410/115 would be more versatile then the 610? Thanks!!!!
Did he say mixing speaker sizes...Did he say mixing speaker sizes...
I dont get it. what do u mean?
Many people are vehemently opposed to mixing speaker sizes because of phasing issues, etc, and more so from different manufacturers. Lot's of physics gets thrown around. Likewise, many people, say bullocks and that it sounds good to them. Let's just say it's a hot topic. Do a search and you'll find plenty of argumentative post on the subject.
gotcha. yea i read some. i thought matching a 410 and 115 has been done for a long time due to its versatility. the 15 for the lows and 410 for mids and highs. but i really know JS and thats why i love TB! anyways yea mixing brands or tones/flavors i could see maybe not working out. it sucks living in such an isolated area. Music stores are 60+ miles away and concentrate more on the guitar player then bass player. meaning the have much more guitar's and guitar amp's. so its tough for me to go try gear out first.
u mean a 15 can be all sorts of things not just lows. right? do u know about "moving air" and why its a good thing? 410/115 vs 610 air movement battle
100T/6x10 neo on hold at the local shop. Oh yes...![]()
