Now i know why i wanted 4 of those Rumble 115 cabs! Overhang!

Grabbed a Rumble 115 today, to use for practices, smaller gigs and when I want to push the Super Bassman harder. Sounds great and can't believe how light it is!

Meh, the overhang is minimal. I'm just happy that the one I picked up has the same Fender badge as the head. Means I don't have to replace it.

The blonde heads are cool and different, I prefer the black heads though, because they look so buisness like IMO.

Ok.. after my SB300 has been forced to sit unused for about three months, i finally get to use it today.. and.. the overdrive channel is not producing sound! I have tried everything in the owners manual... but still no tone.. is there anything that someone might know before i take it to the tech?

Swap the 2 12ax7's around. See if the problem follows or changes. That'd be my 1st step.

Tried foot switch as well as the front panel switch?
Next - as in ANY amp I'm having a problem with - I'd try cleaning the fx loop sockets. I'm no tech but them's the things I'd try.

Thanks Rod, yes, i have tried the switch too.. it was the first thing i did, the third as well after changing the pre tubes out. I will give the tech a shout tomorrow on the phone i guess

The only other thing I've tried. ..not on the Super Bassman. ..but on others. . Is DURING a gig. .. I've had a volume drop out. I dimed the master and played a note ...it seemed to "clear its throat" & worked after doing it. ...???? (VERY hi tech I know)
Try it with the gain too... maybe in mute mode unless you got speakers that'll handle a huge volume spike for a second.

So, quick question to the assembled...

How many among you play a Precision, or Precision-style, as your primary instrument? Just judging from photos, I'd say quite a few.

Jazz and Stingray, but SB-1 is my current main. All sound great, though I'm finding passives really sound amazing with this head.
