I have the Center Posotive plug, and I have a couple ports that I can switch to 12v. I recall (maybe?) you saying that as long as the Truetone isn't maxxed out, the ports will share the overall power.

I don't think it will. If I'm understanding the CS12 correctly, the 12v ports push 100mA each (2 ports would be used for a total of 200mA or .2A). You would need to be able to push 1000mA (1A) between the two ports.
I have heard, and I easily could be wrong, that as long as the 3,000ma's are not maxed, that the CS12 will share the power to all ports.
Check this out. Powering the LA-1a with the little CIOKS 4 using Onespot plug.
Edit: After more testing, I need a more powerful adapter than the Onespot. I'm taxing the available wattage with the Onespot and I'm only using the two ports for the Effectrode. The CIOKS 4 is getting too hot for my liking so I'm going to find an adapter than can deliver more.

I figured you would have posted us some comparison demos of the Oracle and Noble by now lol. I know quite a few that are interested in that.
Kinda apple and orange comparison to me. In the one hand you got a James tonestack based preamp, in the other hand it's a Fender tonestack based one. What you get in the mid is completely different. With a 2 pickups bass i quite like being able to shape mids, with a Stingray or a Pbass, there's a mid-bump coming from the bass, no worry dealing with the 'V' EQ curve of a Fender tonestack.
Had a try with both today, stacking a Super Stack and an Oracle is super tasty !
What would be worth of a comparison (to me) is Noble and Broughton SSDI.

I'm not sure. Here's the chart of how much power to expect based on what you are plugging the CIOKS 4 into. I can say that the Onespot is too close to the edge.

it most likely should. I have the truetone cs12 and only use one 500 port for the stomp and it works just fine. It pulls whatever it needs between the outputs, as long as you stay below total output. Still... they recommend using the 250 and 500 instead of the 100 ports, when using high current pedals.
My DC-7 feels pretty warm after a set but I'm assuming it's normal. It's under a little Nano so not a lot of air moving there.
Same with mine, and I don't run too much off of it. (Somewhere in the middle, capacity-wise)
There are numerous things I'm gassing for currently but I think the LA-1A tops the list. Buying one of these would be amazing, but if I do and I want to use it on a pedal board i need to spend another chunk of change for a power supply. Decisions decisions.
Yes. My DC7 feels pretty warm too but the CIOKS 4 powering the LA-1a using a OneSpot power adapter was very hot. Like almost too hot to touch.
Now I am using a 24 volt 3 amp power supply and the CIOKS 4 is about as warm as my DC7 typically is.
As I said before, I would have never thought I'd have spent $460 on an effect pedal, especially a compressor, but I'll never play without it. Same with a power supply. $220 but worth every penny.
Think of the LA-1A and DC7 as the cost of three typical pedals...they're worth three pedals you would've bought...but now won't. LA-1A is like a foundational pedal on your board...buy once, cry once...
