The Oracle/Effectrode/RNDI combo is far more versatile than the Noble/Cali CB combo.

The Oracle Bass dial is more usable at a wider range than the Noble Bass dial. The Oracle having the mid switch and Range dial is the big game changer for me.

Having previously enjoyed a Noble, I can concur with this. There's just so much more useable tone shaping available on the Oracle.

Have you tried either in a live setting in a full band mix yet? The Noble sounded average playing by itself compared to other preamps I've owned but in a full band mix it was magical. Hard to tell

And I'm not using a set of ear buds.

I'm also testing with 6 different basses.

Does your church have livestreamimg so we can judge for ourselves? Would love to hear it.

You are talking about a different venue, but yes indeed. Unfortunately, a stream like that really isn't going to be a good indication of what is mixed live. I would never use a church stream as the de facto interpretation of intended [actual] sound.

Do we agree you run your Effectrode pedals with a 12VDC power output ?
