Here's my two.
A blue GSR200 and a ASB140-BS Artcore semi-hollow.
I love how the headstocks on the semi-hollow guitars are kinda bastardized from the Musician/Roadster headstock design
It's taken me a while, as I'm used to the EMG Selects on my Hohner B Bass V, but once they are EQ'd properly (I cut treble & boost mids) they are extremely punchy.
The J on its own is incredibly 'old school'.

Ps. I don't have Black Beauties anymore... They look nice but the sound was actually pretty awful... Intonation problems and total loss of attack

Ooh yeh BTB is my go to!!
The cigar bax is made by Thorley guitars.. the guy lives on the sunshine coast and sells these at Eumundi markets...an the man can play !!
Or the Smooth II tuners!! I think the Roadstar 5 string headstock is the most regal-looking one I've ever seen.
I don't know why I love Roadstar headstocks so much...

This last one I had been searching forever but I sold it to one of my best friends after he got robbed of a scam stingray thru ebay. The first three are mine, the 4001, the jazz, and the precision. The ripper and the precision are the best sounding of the pack but to be honest, all four basses kill the real instruments they copy. I've owned them all from different eras and no contest. Only bass Ive seen hold its own are very rare 70s fender jazz basses that have that something. I LOVE IBANEZ, and as far as newer models go, the BTBs are quite something for the price, a godsend for gigging musicians, quite a looker.

Yeah, I'm not buying that. I'm sure the Ripper copy holds it's own, and maybe the Precision copy is close to a 70's Fender P, but I've owned an Ibanez Jazz copy and several Fender Jazzes, and the Fenders won hands down. As for the Rick....well, only a Rick is a Rick. If you ever owned one, you'd know. That being said, I think the '80's Ibanez Roadstar 850's and Soundgear 800's are as good as (or better than) any other production instrument I've ever tried.
