Hey, can anyone with a 2000s SR1000/1005 prestige confirm that they were coming out of the Cort Factory and NOT Fujigen? I'm 99% that this was the case and that no basses were coming out of Japan other then limited editions. I think that was the reason I got a 905 over a 1005, just trying to remember.

To the best of my knowledge, the 1000s/1005s were from Cort.

that would be why I didn't buy one then, why pay more for something almost identical to the 905 coming out of the same factory?

come to think of it, I think the prestige BTBs came out of Cort too.

The only reason I'd get a 1000 over a 900 would be for that beautiful blue moon flat finish.

So I just picked up an SR3005. I'll have pics up in a bit, anyone know where I can get a saddle for a monorail bridge, and washers for the tuning machines? Or does anyone have some lying around? She's a beauty but she needs some love.
